Big Bear Island is located about 1/4 mile from the village of Crane Lake. It is 3/4 mile long by 1/4 wide and consists entirely of private cabins. There are about 20 cabins along its 3 miles of shoreline. The center of the island is an undeveloped area with walking paths and offers beautiful views. To reach the island, you can either take your own boat or rent one from any of the nearby marinas.
