Please read below the events that typically occur during Voyageur Days.  Keep an eye out for what plans we can make happen this busy 2021 summer.

Celebrate the Rich History of Crane Lake with Pierre and the Rest of our Fun-Loving Community.  Individuals and businesses are teaming together to bring guests an unforgettable experience as a true Crane Lake Voyageur.   Fresh fish cooked over an open flame, a tradition brought back to life here in Crane Lake:  the Voyageur Fish Fry - Saturday afternoon reflecting Crane Lake traditions of old.
Our community welcomes you to join in many activities being planned

THURSDAY 2-6 pm We host a brilliant Art Show at Nelson's Resort featuring the work of local artists: Debbie Neurenberg, Rosalee Nieme, Lois Larson, Bob Kaiser, Chris Lang, Millie Nelson, Bonnie DuFresne, and others.  Browse beautiful art and enjoy complimentary refreshments.  Nelson's famous smorgasbord is offered Thursday evenings all summer with seatings at 5:30 and 7 pm.

THURSDAY night is Bingo, with a Voyageur Days dinner special at Voyagaire Lodge.  Bingo games begin at 7 pm and proceeds benefit our local snowmobile/ATV trails.

THURSDAY After the bingo games, head over to "Bling" at the Crane Lake Bar and Grill.

Friday Enjoy a Women of the Water event at 9 am with Emily Schwanke and company.  Emily is our resident Crane Lake expert in all things outdoors.  She guides trips paddling, hiking, berry picking, boating, and even rock climbing trips!  This group normally meets every Tuesday at 2 pm and Friday at 9 am, so this week everyone is invited for a special Voyageur Days event - Yoga in the North Woods!  Beginner yoga will be led by Sara White and participants will get a boat ride to enjoy yoga in the most beautiful spot you have ever done yoga at (we promise)!  Women of the Water welcomes all - new boaters to seasoned boaters.  Cost is $10 per week.

FRIDAY at 5:30 pm is a Crane Lake Painting Class at the Crane Lake Bar and Grill.  Join local artist Carole Scott as she walks you through the steps to get the results you want.  In this three hour class (approximately) you will walk away with your very own beautiful painting of Voyageurs National Park.  Registration required and class is limited to the first 15 participants, with a minimum class size of six.  There will be a small cost to cover supplies.

SATURDAY afternoon is the Voyageur Days Fish Fry, location TBD.  Don't miss this delicious meal of fried fish, bread/butter, beans, German potato salad and pickles cooked over an open flame by our Crane Lake Voyageur Days hosts.

Celebrate the joy of being in beautiful Crane Lake, MN.
